What is RemoteIDE?

RemoteIDE is an iOS app that lets you send AI coding prompts from your iPhone or iPad to Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex running on your Mac in real time. It connects over local network or via Tailscale.

What do I need to get started?

• iPhone or iPad running iOS 18.0+
• Mac running macOS 15.0+ with the RemoteIDE Mac companion app
• Cursor installed (for Cursor mode)
• Claude Code (for Claude Code mode)
• Codex installed (for Codex mode)
• Same Wi-Fi network OR Tailscale on both devices
