1. How does Shrinky work?
Shrinky compresses photos and videos locally on your iPhone or iPad, saving storage without sending your media to any server.
2. Will compression affect quality?
Our “Balanced” preset preserves visual quality while reducing file size. For maximum savings, choose “Minimum”; for best quality, select “Maximum.”
3. Where are my files stored?
Compressed files remain on your device. If Auto-Save is enabled, they’re added back to your Photos library.
4. Why is a file larger after compression?
If a file is already highly optimized, Shrinky keeps the original and labels the result “No significant reduction.”
5. What happens after I use my three free demo compressions?
You can continue with unlimited compressions by upgrading to Shrinky Pro in the app.
